The Wolverine Director Tweets Cast Photos

A series of cast photos taken by The Wolverine director James Mangold popped up on Mangold's Twitter feed this morning, giving fans a look at not only Wolverine, but the best looks yet at the film's female leads. Along with the pictures at right and below, Mangold tweeted the caption, "Three B&Ws I took last day of production. Three people I adore. Rila Fukushima, Hugh Jackman and Tao Okamoto... Or Yukio, Logan and Mariko as they are known in the film." The Wolverine is based on the stories that Chris Claremont and Frank Miller created, taking place in Japan; it's meant as a sequel to X-Men: The Last Stand, with flashbacks to the period of time surrounding X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The film is due in theaters on July 26.
