Finally, Megan Fox is no longer the biggest female name associated with the Transformers franchise.

Paramount Pictures and Michael Bay have added the first two female screenwriters to its Transformers "braintrust" with Lindsey Beer and Christina Hodson. With other notable braintrust members like The Walking Dead's Robert Kirkman, the two will help create storylines and ideas for future Transformers films and projects.

Beer's former credits include the Disney adventure Dig and the sci-fi comedy How To Nail An Alien. Hodson, a three-times Black List screenwriter, has credits that include Shut In and Unforgettable.

What do you think, readers? Are you excited to see some female writers in Transformers' stable? Let us know in the comments.
