Video game villains are notoriously stupid, especially in classic games. They don't take proper precautions, they always attack in easily discernible patterns, and their weak spots often literally glow. Dorkly realized this and decided to take a look at what things might be like if they were just a little bit smarter.

While the Bowser and Dr. Eggman ones are pretty funny, Mega Man and Punch-Out are where the video really shines. Mega Man uses a surprising new foe as the boss, much to the frustration of the titular robot. Punch-Out has Mike Tyson use a little logic, and referee Mario is forced to agree.

Check these out, and long for the days when a video game boss was simply a matter of playing it enough times to memorize their pattern.
