First Birdman TV Spot Released

During last night's Saturday Night Live with host Chris Pratt from Guardians of the Galaxy, Fox Searchlight aired the very first TV spot for Birdman, which stars former Batman movie actor Michael Keaton. They also released the TV spot online. The TV spot features a couple rave reviews for the film, which has been met by a very positive response from critics who have seen early screenings.

In Birdman, a washed-up actor who once played an iconic superhero must overcome his ego and family trouble as he mounts a Broadway play in a bid to reclaim his past glory.

Birdman stars Michael Keaton, Emma Stone, Edward Norton, Andrea Riseborough, Zach Galifianakis, Naomi Watts, Amy Ryan, Merritt Wever and Benjamin Kanes. The film is directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu.

Birdman comes to theaters October 17.
