Kevin Smith Plays A Role In Tonight's The Big Bang Theory

Writer/director/actor Kevin Smith ("Mallrats") makes a guest appearance on tonight's "The Fortification Implementation" episode of The Big Bang Theory.

I know, most of you are thinking that CBS is pulling a cheap trick by bringing in some eye candy, but that isn't the case. Sorry ladies (and some guys), the only part of Smith that will appear in the show tonight is his majestic voice.

In this episode, Penny gets an offer to audition for a movie from Director Kevin Smith (pictured above to the right of Leonard). This behind-the-scenes snapshot shows Kevin enjoying his time on set, who is featured in the episode through a voice-over.

The Big Bang Theory airs tonight at 8:00 p.m. on CBS.
