With only days left in production, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn shared his final glimpse at the film's storyboard with fans on social media today.

The image appears to show Star-Lord, Rocket, and the Baby Groot as seen in silhouettes on the one promotional image that's been released so far.

Earlier today, Gunn also tweeted that actor Dave Bautista, the former WWE Superstar who plays Drax the Destroyer, wrapped his role on the sci-fi superhero sequel.

"It's been a lot of hard work, honestly," he said of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in a recent Q&A at the Atlanta Film Festival. "It's a much bigger film. Also at the same time, a much more intimate film, more character-driven in certain ways, so it's just a lot of work. And everybody has been on their game."

Gunn praised a couple of the new actors in particular.

"The new cast members... Kurt Russell has been incredible. And Pom Klementieff, who plays a new Guardian [Mantis] has been just, she blows me away," Gunn said. "She's really been perfect."

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is in production and principal photography now for a 2017 release. The entire principal cast and director James Gunn return from the first chapter. They're joined by Sylvester Stallone, Kurt Russell, Debicki, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, and more. At this point, most of the new actors' roles are unknown and/or mysterious.

Gunn has also said that, aside from Peter Quill, there will be no major characters in the film of human ancestry, thus presumably cutting out those persistent "Avengers cameo" rumors. And, ofcours,e that likely means Quill's father won't even be half-human, but fully an alien.
