As One Punch Man returns! However, this isn’t season two of Saitama’s story, it is, in fact, something completely different. One Punch Man fans that have eagerly been awaiting the return of the anime, but will now be given a One Punch Man CD Drama in the meantime. One Punch Man Maji CD Drama is set to be released on September 27th, with a song and images recently released of the new installment of Saitama’s story on One Punch Man’s official social accounts.
The CD drama will feature characters and voice actors of the series such as Makoto Furukawa (Voice actor of Saitama), Kaito Ishikawa (Genos), Yuki Kaji (Speed-o’-Sound Sonic), Hiroki Yasumoto (King), Masaya Onosaka (Puri-Puri Prisoner and Saori Hayami (Hellish Blizard). The group has been photographed together, as they work on the next audio adventure for Saitama, as well as some of the other popular characters from the anime.
A video with the new song has recently been released and shared on One Punch Man’s official Twitter and YouTube accounts, which you can watch just below.
Season two of One Punch Man isn’t expected to be released for quite some time, with next year being an expected time frame, although that hasn't been confirmed yet. For now, Saitama fans will have this CD drama that they can enjoy in the meantime. Season one of the series focused predominantly on the Heroes of the show, however, season two will introduce the Villain Association. This organization will test the mysterious power of Saitama further after he easily blew away every enemy he came across, in season one of the series.
