IDW Publishing Is Bringing MonkeyBrain's Skybreaker To Print.

MonkeyBrain's Western saga, Skybreaker, is making its way into print thanks to IDW Publishing. Skybreaker – only available in digital form, until now – was created by writer Michael Moreci (Hoax Hunters) and artist Drew Zucker and follows its titular character as he searches for revenge in the gritty and chaotic WIld West. "They always say to write the book you want to read. Skybreaker is that book, all the way," says co-creator Moreci. "There's such a lack of straight-up Westerns, and Drew and I set out to make something that we hope would make Leone himself happy." This book is the culmination of a lot of hard work from a lot of different people, but I hope that more than anything it shows that the Western is alive, kicking, and doesn't always need a twist, just some really great characters telling a really good story," says co-creator Zucker. Skybreaker will be the fifth in the growing library of Monkeybrain digital comics brought into print by IDW Publishing, joining Edison Rex, Amelia Cole, Artful Daggers, Mask of the Red Panda and Red Light Properties. Skybreaker will be available in print April 2014.
