Fans of comic book and anime crossovers, get excited.

DC Comics' Justice League and anime's Eagle Talon Society are teaming up to stop the Joker in the upcoming DC Super Heroes vs. Eagle Talon. The film's production company DLE Inc. released a teaser with English subtitles on Thursday.

Translated by Anime News Network, DLE Inc.'s film synopsis not only presents a compelling story, but also makes a light-hearted nod at the film's budget and the licensing costs for the DC characters.

Joker has come to Japan to steal the Eagle Talon Society's secret weapons in his continued scheme for pure chaos. However, the Justice League is on his trail, but there's something off with Batman. Now, it's up to Eagle Talon to go find out what's wrong with Batman, and that means going back in time to Bruce Wayne's most traumatic experience, the murder of his parents. If that wasn't enough to worry about, the Eagle Talon Society also have to keep their eyes on their production budget, especially with most of that money going towards the licensing fee for DC's popular characters. Will the Eagle Talon Society and the Justice League be able to stop the Joker before their budget dries up, and they're reduced to simple stick figures!?

The teaser also reveals the film's cast which you can check out below:

Takayuki Yamada as Batman

Former KARA idol group member Jiyoung as Harley Quinn

Ken Yasuda as The Joker

In addition to the teaser, a promotional image was also released, featuring both the comic book and anime versions of Batman and the text "Why are YOU going to Tokyo? The Justice League has come from Hollywood…"

The film opens in Japan on October 21.

As for the Americanized version, Justice League currently has a 4.16 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings. The full synopsis can be found below.
