Tonight's Legends of Tomorrow episode sent the team back to 1988 to figure prevent the death of young Ray Palmer, but the Dominator aliens may not be the only familiar faces the team runs into in the 80s.

Spoilers for tonight's episode of Legends of Tomorrow, "Phone Home", below.

Tonight's episode opened with young Ray Palmer running away from some people in suits. When he tries to escape two men in black suits corner him, one with a gun and one wearing a pair of horn-rimmed glasses that seem very familiar. When young Ray swipes the glasses man's keys and runs, shots ring out and the keys fall ominously to the floor.

Who would go so far as to possibly shoot a child trying to escape and why do those glasses seem so familiar? Well, as we've seen in previews for the episode, young Ray made friends with a baby Dominator alien so if you were thinking that that man in a suit looked like the men in black from last year's Arrowverse crossover event, "Invasion!" you might just be right. With a Dominator on the loose in 1988, it would make a lot of sense that the same secret agents in black who first encountered the aliens in 1951 and showed up again in 2016 would respond to the 1988 Dominator incident. Of course, he's not quite as old as he was when we met him in 2016, but he looks like he has the same mission.

And it also looks like the shadowy Agent Glasses may be just as brutal and unyielding as he was when he knocked out and kidnapped Nate, Mick, and Amaya in 1951 if he's willing to allow his partner to possibly shoot a child. Is this how little Ray dies? Will the Legends be able to save him from the Dominator and Agent Glasses? Here's to hoping it all turns out well so that Agent Glasses can be thwarted again in 2016 and sent off to Antarctica as he was at the end of the Legends hour of "Invasion" last year.

Legends of Tomorrow airs Tuesdays at 9/8c after The Flash on The CW.
