With how big the most recent Pokemon Go update was, there's no wonder that not everything would be rolled out as smooth as players and the Pokemon Go team would hope. Players have been reporting a couple of issues and bugs they've been noticing as they try out the new gyms and the new raid feature, but Niantic is aware of several of them and is adding a list of known issues along with a response to each one.

Many of the issues that Niantic responded to are unsurprisingly tied into some of the gyms' new functions, such as not receiving a Defender bonus. That particular issue is apparently proving to be a bit difficult for the Pokemon Go team to reproduce, and they're attributing that issue to some player confusion on how the new changes to the bonus work and went on to clarify how players can expect to receive coins in the new gym system.

Android users also seem to be experiencing their own set of problems with the newest version of Pokemon Go as more than one issue in the list was directed at problems with the devices. Some Android players are getting stuck on the loading screen, and others are having difficulties connecting their Android devices to a Pokemon Go Plus device. The team is working on resolving the Pokemon Go Plus issue, but the persisting loading screen seems to be a temporary problem, but if it persists, can be solved by checking your background data settings.

Raids are another feature that players were no doubt excited to join in on, but some are having some trouble doing so. After readying up for a raid, some players are being hit with a big red error banner. There's no word on what's causing it at this time, but the team said that they're actively working to resolve it so that everyone can participate in the multi-person battles.
