League Of Legends Champion And Skin Sale Aug. 11-14

A new set on League of Legends' champions and skins has now hit the League store, and many of the deals during this brief sale offer discounts on popular and recently-buffed picks.

The discounts will only be available for a short period, so players will have to choose whether they want to spend their RP on these deals or save it up for the Arcade event that's ongoing. Epic Capsules are also on the way that'll give players a shot at some super rare, limited time skins, but until that new loot is released, here are the champions and skins that are currently on sale along with their discounted prices.

Skins

• Galactic Nasus for 260 RP
• Wild Card Shaco for 375 RP
• Fisherman Fizz for 487 RP
• Hextech Janna for 487 RP

Champions

• Sion for 292 RP
• Corki for 395 RP
• Yorick for 440 RP
• Jinx 487 for RP

As far as recent champion buffs go, the sales this time around offer plenty of possibilities for viable picks after the past two patches. Nasus, Fizz, Jinx, and Sion have all been recipients of buffs in the recent patches that have already seemed to increase their playrates. With Nasus dishing out Qs quicker than ever, Fizz staying on the troll poll more often in early game, Jinx having a lower CD on her Zap! Ability, and Sion stacking even more health through his W's passive, these picks could work now more than ever with the right team comp.

Looking at the individual skins on sale, there aren't too many high-ticket items, the most expensive ones being Fizz's and Janna's skins at an original price of 975 RP. Fisherman Fizz and his manatee ult are still decent options, and while Janna's Hextech skin doesn't change the support quite as much as her Star Guardian cosmetic, Janna has still proven to be a powerful peeling pick even through the Ancient Coin nerfs.

These champions and skins are on sale now and will be available in the store until Aug. 14 where they'll then be replaced with a new set of deals to choose from.
