Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 wrapped principal photography this week, and while it's fairly customary for the director to hand out wrap gifts to the cast and crew, all week long James Gunn has been sharing some of the testimonials and gifts that his cast are giving to him, as well...

...including this lovely hand-signed card, from Gunn, which was apparently stolen from him and then re-gifted to him, along with a pretty spectacular painting and a set of custom sneakers, by The Walking Dead's Michael Rooker.

You can check 'em out below.

"It's been a lot of hard work, honestly," he said of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in a recent Q&A at the Atlanta Film Festival. "It's a much bigger film. Also at the same time, a much more intimate film, more character-driven in certain ways, so it's just a lot of work. And everybody has been on their game."

Gunn praised a couple of the new actors in particular.

"The new cast members... Kurt Russell has been incredible. And Pom Klementieff, who plays a new Guardian [Mantis] has been just, she blows me away," Gunn said. "She's really been perfect."

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is in production and principal photography now for a 2017 release. The entire principal cast and director James Gunn return from the first chapter. They're joined by Sylvester Stallone, Kurt Russell, Debicki, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, and more. At this point, most of the new actors' roles are unknown and/or mysterious.

Gunn has also said that, aside from Peter Quill, there will be no major characters in the film of human ancestry, thus presumably cutting out those persistent "Avengers cameo" rumors. And, ofcours,e that likely means Quill's father won't even be half-human, but fully an alien.
