It looks like Carrie Fisher's beloved dog, Gary, has a new pal on the set of Star Wars: Episode VIII. Mark Hamill, who reprises his role as Luke Skywalker in the film, tweeted out a picture from the set - or at least from video village on set - with his daughter's dog on the set.
Hamill teased that it's an "exclusive first look" at an "exotic alien creature" before noting it's just her pet. The picture is, as was Fisher's first set pic, on one of the chairs bearing the pre-production code-name of the movie, "Space Bear: Episode VIII."
Star Wars: Episode VIII comes from writer/director Rian Johnson. Following the events of The Force Awakens, the film will continue Rey's epic journey into the Force as the Resistance continues to battle the evil First Order. Official description follows.
Rey took her first steps into a larger world in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and will continue her epic journey with Finn, Poe, and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the continuing Star Wars saga, Star Wars: Episode VIII, which began principal photography at Pinewood Studios in London on February 15, 2016.
