After an explosive season five finale, fans have been wondering exactly what to expect for Arrow's upcoming sixth season.
And now, The CW has revealed the first hint of what will come next for the series, in the form of the show's San Diego Comic-Con synopsis. While it is vague on actual plot details, it teases that the fate of each character who was left stranded on Lian Yu will be revealed over the course of the premiere. You can check it out below:
"With the future of the team left hanging in the balance, Arrow gave new definition to the phrase "blowing up the show." The emotional showdown between Oliver Queen and Adrian Chase was the perfect conclusion to a stellar fifth season of The CW's gritty DC Super Hero series. Now, the focus shifts to uncovering the fate of each and every member of Team Arrow. Could anyone have possibly survived an island-wide explosion, or has the book closed on them, as it has on Oliver's five-year flashback story? Returning to San Diego Comic-Con for a sixth consecutive year, cast members Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, Paul Blackthorne, Katie Cassidy, Echo Kellum, Juliana Harkavy, Rick Gonzalez and producers will be on-hand for an eye-opening conversation about the upcoming season."
Filming on the season six premiere - the title of which is still unknown - is rumored to begin within a few days. This means that fans will most likely get to see some sort of teaser footage during Arrow's SDCC panel, which is scheduled for 5:50-6:30 PM PST on Saturday, July 22nd.
Arrow's sixth season debuts on The CW on Thursday, October 12 at 8 pm ET.

After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. He returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs done by his family and fighting injustice. As the Green Arrow, he protects his city with the help of former soldier John Diggle (David Ramsey), computer-science expert Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), his vigilante-trained sister Thea Queen (Willa Holland), Deputy Mayor Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), brilliant inventor Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum), and his new recruits, street-savvy Rene Ramirez (Rick Gonzalez) and meta-human Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy).
Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his "family".
