Jeremy Renner Talks Hawkeye's Exploration In Avengers 3 & 4

With Avengers: Infinity War slated to release on May 2, 2018 and Avengers 4 starting production, Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner has been opening up about how each film allows him to explore a bit more of his character.

In a recent interview with Collider, Renner said that he is always looking to understand more about Clint Barton.

"I do want to explore more with the character. I'm down," Renner said. "I'm always wanting to understand Barton much more cause I think he's just a kick ass character and I hope we get to explore a lot more. It looks like we're going to be pretty busy for the rest of the year, so I can't wait to see what they come up with."

As for what Hawkeye is up to in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4, Renner didn't give up any major details, but did reveal that he didn't even get to see a full script.

"You don't even get to see a whole script or anything. It's kind of you just do what you do and you do it with whoever you're doing it with and that's it," Renner said. "And you trust the directors and writers that are good [at] what they're doing."

The fourth Avengers installment is filming now and will hit theaters on May 3, 2019.
