There's a new Super Mario Bros-inspired makeup coming out and I'm not freaking out, you're freaking out! The Shu Uemura Super Marios Bros line has a little something for everyone, and it's the perfect spin to a nostalgic favourite. It's also getting closer to the holiday season (hint, hint).
The official site for the new line prepares makeup lovers with an adorable little tale of an epic adventure:
"On a snowy night in Tokyo, Mario takes you on a brave journey to help Princess Peach by protecting the Mushroom Kingdom's makeup treasure. Along the way, gather Shu Uemura colourful makeup and playful cleansing oils to fight against Bowser, who wants to see the world in just black and white. Dive into Beautfy Adventure, dare to win with colours!"
Matte lipsticks, glosses, makeup cases, balms, blushes, and more! The new line pretty much has everything, and it's everything this Super Mario fan didn't know she wanted. Let's take a look at a few of their wares:
Lips:
There's also a tint balm available that comes in "Fire Flower" and "Underground Adventure" ... the balms are definitely more subtle than the matte lipstick but still have a powerful red and purple kick to make that statement while humming the Super Mario theme in your head.
Eyes:
In addition to the eyeliner and pencil, there is also the Peach's Eye and Cheek Palette that comes with purples and other warm tones, with the iconic Mario stamps for its casing. Go with the soft Princess Peach colours, or add a little fire power with the more orange palette offered as well!
