'Once Upon a Time' Creators Tease 'Big Reveals' in Friday's Regina-Centric Episode

Once Upon a Time grabbed the feelings of fans last Friday when Roni/Regina saw a photo of herself in Storybrooke, standing side-by-side with the kid-version of Henry. The Regina that everybody remembers is in there somewhere, and it looks like this week's new episode, titled "Wake Up Call," will take a dive into the past that she doesn't remember.
As if the hint from the name of the episode wasn't enough, OUAT co-creator Eddy Kitsis confirmed that there are plenty of surprises in store for Friday night. According to him, "It's going to be a fun one."
Kitsis spoke with TVLine ahead of Friday's episode, and he teased "There are going to be some big reveals" awaiting Once Upon a Time fans.
"What we're really excited about," Kitsis added, "is that the flashback is a Regina/Drizella story." If you recall, this story is taking place because it last week's episode revealed that the two characters' stories have been intertwined, and that Ivy/Drizella was actually awake from the curse in Hyperion Heights.
Could this mean that Roni finally uncovers her past as Regina and wakes up from the curse as well? All will be revealed when "Wake Up Call" debuts later this week.
Once Upon a Time airs new episodes on Friday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
