#BorutosDad Is Actually A Thing Now

Naruto fans knew that the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations spin-off may surpass the original Naruto story, however, no one was expecting it this soon. Fans are only 21 episodes into the Boruto anime, with only two novels completed and a third on its way in days. However, it seems that Boruto fans are already forgetting their original ninja hero, as the hash tag #BorutosDad has been trending for quite some time now. Yes, you heard me; Naruto is already being referred to as Boruto’s Dad.

On Twitter and Facebook, Boruto fans have been spamming the #BorutosDad hash tag with a number of hilarious memes. In addition, even Crunchyroll is now using the hash tag and the term Boruto's Dad.

At first, the hash tag shocked me but after a little investigating, it was quite amusing. The story of Boruto's dad (Boruto's Dad Shippuden) ended its anime only a matter of months ago, with the new Boruto anime starting earlier this year. The Naruto spin-off Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is written by Ko Shigenobu, as well as Masashi Kishimoto the original Naruto creator, illustrator Mikie Ikemoto and writer Uko Kodachi.
