Today, fans of Dragon Ball Super were finally able to get their hands on its latest manga volume. Viz Media released the series' second volume, but readers are already looking ahead to its next release. However, it seems like those fans will have to wait a bit.
After all, Amazon is saying Dragon Ball Super’s third volume will not come out until mid-2018.
If you head over to Amazon, you will find a listing for Dragon Ball Super’s third volume. The landing page will let readers pre-order the trade if they’d like, but fans are curious about its intended release date. The paperback is expected to drop on July 3, 2018 - and readers are a bit upset about the lengthy delay.
The hold-up between volumes two and three will be nearly seven months. When Dragon Ball Super had its first manga volume go live in the U.S, it did so in May 2017. The second volume followed up in December, so there was also a seven-month delay between the releases. Fans had hoped Viz Media would move up its release calendar for future volumes, but that does not seem to be the case.
Of course, fans can still keep up with Dragon Ball Super’s individual chapters online. Viz Media provides English translations of newly released chapters on delay at its website.
If you are looking forward to Dragon Ball Super’s third volume, you can go ahead and read up on its synopsis. Amazon has a brief description for the trade up already which can you read below:
