If you are one of the many anime fans out there who fell for My Hero Academia, then you are in lucky. A second season for the show will be released in a month and bring back heroes like Izuku. Now, international fans will have an easier time than ever watching the anime thanks to Funimation. Just moments ago, the company confirmed it had reached a simulcast deal to bring My Hero Academia to fans the same day a new episode drops in Japan.

"My Hero Academia was one of the most eagerly anticipated new anime series to launch in 2016. It was a big hit with our fans and the #1 show on FunimationNow last year," said Gen Fukunaga, CEO and founder of Funimation. "We're very excited to be presenting the first six episodes of My Hero Academia – both simulcast and SimulDub – on the same day they air in Japan. I have no doubts that Season 2 will be another fantastic season and will build on the great characters and storylines from last year."

According to Funimation, the season season will debut in Japan, U.S., Canada, U.K., and Ireland on April 1st. The first six episodes will be released on simulcast with both English subtitles and dubbing. Before the premiere gets underway, Funimation will air a special recap episode of the anime's first season on March 25th.

"Toho and BONES exceeded expectations with Season 1 and Season 2 will definitely not disappoint," said Mike DuBoise, EVP and COO of Funimation. "We're thrilled to be distributing My Hero Academia and for FunimationNow to be the home of the both the simulcast and SimulDub."

Of course, there are some fans who feel weary about this update. After all, Funimation is saying they will release the much-awaited anime on April Fool's Day. However, the series won't be the first to make a comeback on the day. Attack on Titan will return on April 1st as well.

The synopsis for My Hero Academia can be read below:

Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That's right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered "quirk," Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that's not going to stop him from enrolling in one of the world's most prestigious hero academies. Now, the only thing standing between him and his first class is the academy's formidable entrance exam—nothing a little private tutoring from the world's mightiest hero can't solve."

My Hero Academia will return March 25, 2017.
