Well, here's a shocker (not really): X-Men/Spider-Man #1 has sold out on the distributor levels. That means if you haven't picked up the issue, you'd better hit your local comic shop quickly. Marvel has no plans to reprint as of this time. X-Men/Spider-Man is a four issue mini-series that presents a story on the early days of the Marvel Age. The series is written by Christos N. Gage with pencils and cover by Mario Alberti. The first issue of the series revealed an early meeting between the original class of X-Men and Spidey. The first issue also ended with a very shocking last page, and according to Marvel this series will have "deadly consequences for the current day Marvel Universe." The issue has been well received by fans and media sites. X-Men/Spider-Man #2 comes out on December 10, 2008. The second issue will feature a Spider-Man who is still recovering from Kraven's Last Hunt and an X-men team hurting from the Mutant Massacre. I'm guessing that will sell out as well, so hit your local comic shop early!
