Guardians Of The Galaxy: James Gunn Meets With Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn seems to want to get all the insight he can from the comic book creators who have worked on Guardians of the Galaxy. Earlier today, James Gunn tweeted the photo above along with the statement, "With @AndyLanning & @VincentAbnett, reimaginers of #GotG that I'm reimagining! Great guys!" Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning (also known as DnA) are the popular British writing team behind that original reboot of the Guardians of The Galaxy team. Describing the meeting, James Gunn wrote, "We showed them around the production office today to show them some of the amazing stuff they inspired! We wouldn't be making this movie without them! AND they're super nice guys to boot!" Guardians of The Galaxy is scheduled to be released in theaters on August 1, 2014.
