The new Justice League trailer premiered at New York Comic Con today, and besides sporting some much-improved visual effects, the new look at Justice League also provided a nice Joker Easter egg!
Take a look below at what eagle-eyed fans quickly spotted when reviewing the new Justice League trailer:
Yup, as you can see below that's ACE Chemicals in Gotham City. The processing plant is famous for being the place where an individual working with the Red Hood Gang on a robbery, ended up in a vat of chemicals and became The Joker.

Even though we don't have an official origin for Jared Leto's Joker in the DC Films Universe, Suicide Squad made big reference to the Joker's ACE Chemicals origin. The villain took Arkham Asylum's Dr. Harleen Quinzel to ACE Chemicals, in order to transform into Harley Quinn through (presumably) the same traumatic process he himself underwent.
That shot of ACE Chemicals in the background of Justice League's trailer is a clear reminder that The Joker is still at larger in the DC Films Universe - and after Suicide Squad, Harley is now along with him.
We'll next see Jared Leto's Joker in two places: Suicide Squad 2, and the upcoming Joker and Harley Quinn spinoff film.
Justice League will be in theaters on November 17th.
