Stephen Amell Teases Big Cameo In Arrow Season Finale
Arrow is closing in on its anticipated season 5 finale, and the episode is shaping up to include a [...]
Roy Harper (Arsenal)
Team Arrow has changed a great deal over the years, but fans still have a soft spot for Roy Harper. Harper (played by Colton Haynes) went through quite the metamorphosis during his Arrow days, eventually leading him to become the hooded vigilante Arsenal.
Harper is still very much alive, though hasn't been around for some time. This would provide the perfect opportunity to bring him back in a big way. Not only that, but there was some meat still left on the proverbial bone when he left, including his issues with Thea. He surely wouldn't be a fan of who Oliver is working with in the finale either, another interesting aspect to explore. Plus, Amell has gone on record saying ""You know, I feel like I'm good with Roy Harper. Let's get Roy Harper back."
If he does return, there would be many eager to see him play a part in season six as well.

Ra's al Ghul
When your Ra's al Ghul, death seems increasingly temporary. Sure he was impaled by Oliver Queen, but can that really keep Ra's down forever? It has so far, but his storyline has recently come back into the light after his daughter Talia al Ghul joined Prometheus' quest to destroy Oliver and those closest to him. Talia will be playing a big part in the season finale, so can her father be far behind?
Ra's did put actions into play that would've kept the Lazarus Pit from being used on him, but death has a way of chaining your mind. Plus, he doesn't really have control over someone else putting him the pit at the moment, so perhaps it is a moot point. If he does return, he would still love to have Oliver replace him as the League of Shadow's true leader, or maybe he'll just get pissed and try to kill him again. Who knows, that Ra's is rather unpredictable.

Tommy Merlyn
If Arrow is going to do something big, there isn't much any bigger than bringing Tommy Merlyn back from the dead. Merlyn was a big part of Oliver's early life, and it hit fans like a ton of bricks when he died saving Laurel back in the season one finale. Since then the character (played by ) has appeared in a few flashbacks or memories, like in the universe set up by the Dominators.
His death was rather finite, but death has a loose grasp on characters in the CW-verse, and there are always ways that it can be upended. It also helps to have a built-in mechanic like the Lazarus Pits to work with. Still, Merlyn just might be the Uncle Ben of Arrow as the one character to actually stay dead. If he doesn't though, it will certainly have people talking.

Moira Queen
Since season 2, fans have missed the presence of Oliver's mother Moira Kelley (played by Susanna Thompson). While she has returned to the show since for flashbacks (like in the 100th episode last year), fans would love to see her grace the screen again in the upcoming finale.Even a flashback would also offer added tension between Oliver and Slade Wilson since he's the one that killed her.
Oliver was asked to make an impossible choice when Deathstroke kidnapped him, his sister Thea, and his mother Moira. There he asked Oliver to choose who dies, a decision Oliver refused to make. Moira Queen stepped up to save both of her children, sacrificing herself. To that Slade said "You possess true courage. I'm truly sorry you did not pass that on to your son". He then stabbed her through the heart with his sword."
Amell has even stated in the past that Oliver's "biggest regret is probably not being able to save his mom", so this would certainly be a big deal if she showed up in some way.

Constantine
This would be perhaps the most welcome surprise Arrow could pull out of its hat. Fans were upset to see the Constantine series canceled by NBC, but Matt Ryan's perfect portrayal was officially made part of the Arrowverse when he guested on the "Haunted" episode of Arrow. That was back in 2015 though, and while he's voiced the character a few other times for DC's animated projects, he hasn't made another appearance on the show.
Having him show up would be a fantastic way to make the season finale special, and could even be used to set up a bigger plot point for next seasons, as the show has already been renewed for season 6. Ryan has also said previously that he would be open to returning to the show because "I love the character".
