While attending HBO's Emmys afterparty on Sunday night, Affleck took a time out from the festivities to take a selfie with a fan, and he even got into character for it. US Weekly reports that a witness to the moment said the actor paid the fan a compliment, Batman-style.
"The fan said, 'It's nice to take a picture with Batman.' And Ben said, 'nice jacket' in his Batman voice," the witness said.
While Affleck's distinctive Batman voice gets some help from computer enhancements in the DCEU films, the actor's more organic version is pretty solid. Affleck, who has made no bones about how much he enjoys being Batman in the past, has previously recreated his deep Batman voice -- as well as Christian Bale's version -- in a segment for Red Nose Day earlier this year.
And while fans will get to hear more of Affleck's Batman in Justice League in November, they may be getting more of his dark voice sooner than previously anticipated. It was reported last week that even with all of the uncertainty around The Batman, Affleck's solo outing as the Caped Crusader should is rumored to go into production in the summer of 2018.
Justice League opens in theaters on November 17, 2017.
