Gotham may be off the air for a little while but, when it comes back, chaos will reign supreme.
After tonight's midseason finale, Fox aired the first promo for the second half of Gotham's fourth season. Judging by the footage shown, and the ending of this story arc, it looks like things are only going to get crazier when the series returns.
Penguin got locked up in Arkham Asylum and he's made a new friend to keep him company. Jerome has finally made his return to Gotham, revealing himself to Penguin at the very end of the finale. The new promo shows the duo starting an uprising in the asylum, using their resources to wreak havoc on the iconic institution.
The promo also shows the first look at the brand new version of Poison Ivy. After going through several changes, and another recasting, Ivy will now return with a new look and new powers.
One other thing fans are looking forward to seeing when the show returns is the future of Solomon Grundy. In the finale, Tabitha beat Grundy into remembering the Butch he used to be, so the popular character will likely return stuck between two very different worlds.
As the promo reveals, Gotham will make its way back to Fox this spring TV season.
