With Justice League marching into theaters later this year, DC Collectibles is ramping up production on a number of new items, including these beautiful new character statues.
ComicBook.com is of course partaking in the Comic-Con festivities and got some up-close images of the new statues. The line includes Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman, though unlike the rest this Batman is wearing his tactical suit alternate costume.
The Batman and Cyborg statues stick out immediately, but the Superman and Flash statues are impressive as well. Wonder Woman and Aquaman don't look quite as good as the others in the line, but then these also might not be the final versions headed to stores, so that could improve a bit before release.
No release date or prices are available yet for the line, but you can view all of the new statues in the gallery.
As for the film, more details are expected at Comic-Con, but in the meantime, you can view the synopsis below.
In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Ezra Miller (The Flash), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ray Fisher (Cyborg), Ciarán Hinds (Steppenwolf), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), J.K. Simmons (Commissioner Gordon), Amber Heard (Mera), Kiersey Clemons (Iris West) and Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor).
