“This episode, I think, is probably one of the episodes that we got the most requests for after season one. Everyone wanted the Legends to go back to the Old West and meet up again with Jonah Hex,” says Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim in the featurette. “Jeff Fahey, one of my favorite actors, plays Quentin Turnbull, who is from the comics — Jonah Hex’s main nemesis. This episode is just totally bonkers.”
As for the clip, after saving Jonah Hex from a hanging, he accompanies the Legends onto The Waverider. Grabbing a drink is the first thing on Hex’s mind, but he quickly notices that his oldpal Rip Hunter isn’t on board the ship. Sara Lance, the team’s new captain, informs him that Rip is “M.I.A.”
STRENGTH AND WEAKNESS โ The Legends are still reeling from the news that their time travel-nemesis is a speedster when they are alerted to an Aberration in the Old West. When the Legends arrive they find their old friend Jonah Hex (guest star Jonathan Schaech) in trouble with his arch-nemesis, Quentin Turnbull (guest star Jeff Fahey).
Cherie Nowlan directed the episode, written by Matthew Maala & Chris Fedak.
Based on the characters from DC Comics, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros.
