Legends of Tomorrow’s panel began with a brand new trailer that you can see above!
The sizzle real ends and Damian Holbrook from TV Guide Magazine introduced the panel, including producers Marc Guggenheim, Phil Klemmer, and stars Tala Ashe, Brandon Routh, Damein Purcell, Nick Zano, Caity Lotz, Phil Klemmer, Victor Garber, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, and Franz Drameh.
The Panel Begins
Lotz spoke about leading the team and how her character is coming to terms with bossing the rest of the team around.
Routh said he came to terms with his character being the "nice guy who finishes last," because there's a strength to be gained in being optimistic in the face of diversity.
Klemmer hinted that he's working on a concept for the sixth episode of Season 3 featuring a new take on the Firestorm character called "FireStein," and warned Drameh and Garber to practice portraying each other.
Ashe spoke about her character butting heads with the Atom and others before truly being a part of the team, and that wanting to improve history rather than simply fix history will be a point of contention.
More Legends Panel
Guggenheim hinted that Ray Palmer's sister Sydney would appear in an arc in the future.
Some of the cast expressed disappointment they didn't appear in the Flash/Supergirl musical crossover. Guggenheim hinted they might have plans to do something similar in the future.
They said they continue to have discussions with Matt Ryan about reprising his role as Constantine. They tried to dodge it, but they would love to have the character return.
Episode 4 will be a Spielberg-inspired adventure into Ray Palmer's childhood.
Legends Of Tomorrow
Legends of Tomorrow's third season will premiere on Tuesday, October 10th, at 9/8c. You can view the season's description below.
After the defeat of Eobard Thawne and his equally nefarious Legion of Doom, the Legends face a new threat created by their actions at the end of last season. In revisiting a moment in time that they had already participated in, they have essentially fractured the timeline and created anachronisms – a scattering of people, animals, and objects all across time! Our team must find a way to return all the anachronisms to their original timelines before the time stream falls apart. But before our Legends can jump back into action, Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and his newly established Time Bureau call their methods into question. With the Time Bureau effectively the new sheriffs in town, the Legends disband – until Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell) discovers one of them in the middle of his well-deserved vacation in Aruba. Seeing this as an opportunity to continue their time traveling heroics, Sara (Caity Lotz) wastes no time in getting the Legends back together.
We reunite with billionaire inventor Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), the unconventional historian-turned-superhero Nick Heywood (Nick Zano), and Professor Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Jefferson “Jax” Jackson (Franz Drameh), who together form the meta-human Firestorm. Once reunited, the Legends will challenge the Time Bureau’s authority over the timeline and insist that however messy their methods may be, some problems are beyond the Bureau’s capabilities. Some problems can only be fixed by Legends.0comments
Supergirl premieres on Monday, October 9th at 8 pm, while The Flash debuts on Tuesday, October 10 at 8 pm. Legends of Tomorrow moves to Tuesdays this Fall, airing right after The Flash on October 10. On Thursday, October 12 at 9 pm Arrow will premiere to round out the DC roster.
