The relationship has its ship name: Olicity, and it's one of the most divisive ones on television. Arrow's primary relationship, between Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) seems to be in the love-or-hate category, but it has also largely driven the show's other relationships - it all comes back to these two, who have worked together in the vigilante business, in the world of actual business, and of course have had a romantic relationship that led to an engagement that was eventually called off. But when push came to shove, all of Team Arrow left the life behind at the end of season four - except Felicity. What's keeping her around?
"Oliver's most important relationship in the entire show is his relationship with Star City, and his objective to make it better than what it was and fulfill what his father asked him to do," Amell told Comicbook.com in an interview at San Diego Comic-Con. "So Oliver and Felicity are very much team members at this point. She thinks that there should be a new team at the moment, and Oliver would like the old team to return. He's convinced everyone will go do their thing, then come back. They're kind of at odds at that at the moment, but they're very much team members right now."
Their work together might not turn romantic again anytime soon, but they both remain dedicated to "saving this city" when Arrow returns to the CW this October.
