Suicide Squad's Margot Robbie Dances In First Saturday Night Live Promo

SNL's returning for its 42nd season, and the show's starting it off with Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie. Now fans can catch a glimpse of what's in store for them in the newest promos for the premiere, featuring Robbie alongside SNL's Kate McKinnon.

The two are part of an exclusive pre-premier pre-party, though if you're like Robbie you've probably never heard of such a thing. That's because it doesn't exist, but McKinnon seems quite devoted to the concept so maybe don't mention it to her.

It also turns out that McKinnon is especially bad at girl talk, and evidently has a crush on a raccoon. Also unearthed during the new promo is the fact that Robbie can't vote in the upcoming election, but not because she's from Australia. It's more because of that tricky felony, but McKinnon doesn't press for more details. We've all seen what Robbie does when she's angry, and better not to push your luck.

When all else fails, it's time to dance, and both Robbie and McKinnon show off their best moves. Still, it's weird when you're the only two dancing, not because no one else is, but because you're the only two at the party.

Robbie will join musical guest The Weeknd this Sunday night, and on the following week the show will have Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda on hosting duties along with musical guest Twenty One Pilots.

This will also be the debut of new cast members Alex Moffat, Melissa Villasenor, and Mikey Day, as previous cast members Taran Killam, Jay Pharoah, and Jon Rudnitsky all exited after last season.

SNL returns to NBC on October 1st.
