The CW posted a solid night in the ratings on Tuesday, even though both shows airing on the night took a bit of a hit.

Starting things off, The Flash saw 2.26 million viewers tune in at 8pm ET, earning a 0.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic. These numbers, while good for the series, are down 10 percent from the strong showing last week against the State of the Union address.

Black Lightning experienced a similar situation at 9pm. The CW's latest hit series was down two-tenths from last week, but still managed 1.9 million viewers and a 0.6 demo rating.

Over on NBC, This Is Us (10.1 mil/2.7) won the night in the demo rating, while Chicago Med (7.4 mil/1.5) tied its series high. Ellen's Game of Games (7.7 mil/1.9) rose in the demo with its Season 1 finale.

For ABC, Fresh Off the Boat (3.9 mil/0.9) and black-ish (3.7 mil/1.0) were steady, The Middle (5.6 mil/1.2) took a hit, and Kevin (Probably) Saves the World (2.3 mil/0.5) fell to series lows.

NCIS (13.6 mil/1.4) gave CBS a decent start to the night. Bull (10.7 mil/1.1) slipped a bit and NCIS: New Orleans (8.2 mil/0.9) matched its previous series lows.

On FOX, LA to Vegas (2.5 mil/0.8) and The Mick (2 mil/0.7) remained steady, while Lethal Weapon (4.4 mil/1.1) dipped.
