Wonder Woman is the highest-grossing film of the summer, the second-highest grossing film of the year, and now the film may just beat out Sam Raimi's Spider-Man for its place on top earning lists.
According to Deadline, Wonder Woman will cross the $400 million mark on Monday. For reference, Spider-Man brought in $403.7 million domestic. If Wonder Woman continues to perform, the film may even surpass Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, which came in at $408 million.
In general, Wonder Woman has been performing well since releasing in late May. The film broke records for largest domestic opening for a female director as well as biggest opening for a female-led comic book film, bringing in a solid $103.3 million in its opening weekend.
Wonder Woman is also outperforming other comic book movies globally, making $786 million worldwide and surpassing Deadpool's $783.1 million.
