Hot off the heels of a rumor's fresh arrival, Wonder Woman (our 8th Most Anticipated Film) is the latest film to have aspects of its plot and characters spoiled by toy companies showing off upcoming products.
While word spreads of David Thewils being cast as the villain Ares, we haven't had a good look of the character. The only visual reference came in the packaging of the Wonder Woman toys, were separate parts were collected to make a buildable figure.
But now, thanks to people snapping pictures at the New York Toy Fair, we finally have a good look at the character's appearance in the film.

Twitter user Stitch Kingdom took the snap of the DC Multiverse line of toys featuring characters from the Wonder Woman film, where Ares was on full display.
The character looks imposing and vicious, looming large over the other characters' figures in the center of the display case. This contributes to reports that the character would be a mix of CG and practical effects.
Wonder Woman isn't set for release until the summer, so a lot can change between now and when the film hits theaters, but this gives us a good idea of what Ares will look like when he debuts alongside Diana Prince.
Now that we got this out of the way, Warner Bros., about that final trailer… We're still waiting!

Patty Jenkins directs the film from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, story by Zack Snyder and Allan Heinberg, based on characters from DC Entertainment. Wonder Woman was created by William Moulton Marston.
The film is produced by Charles Roven, Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder and Richard Suckle, with Rebecca Roven, Stephen Jones, Wesley Coller and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers. Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with RatPac-Dune Entertainment, an Atlas Entertainment/Cruel and Unusual production, Wonder Woman.
