Wonder Woman Sequel Officially Announced

Warner Bros. sensational success with the Wonder Woman film continues to break box office records around the world. But now that Patty Jenkins' film is out in the world, fans have been clamoring to learn about plans for a follow up.

The studio dropped a bombshell during their Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con when they announced a Wonder Woman sequel is officially in the works. Gal Gadot will reprise the titular role in the film, but so far no other details are known.

Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins and is written by Allan Heinberg, Geoff Johns, and Zack Snyder. The film stars Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/Wonder Woman), Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), Robin Wright (General Antiope), Connie Nielsen (Queen Hippolyta), David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis (Etta Candy), Danny Huston, Ewen Bremmer, Doutzen Kroes, Samantha Jo (Euboea), Florence Kasumba (Senator Acantha), Said Taghmaoui, Eleanor Matsuura (Epione), Emily Carey (Young Diana), and Lisa Loven Kongsli (Menalippe).
