If you feel like you were burned by Friday the 13th: The Game, but you're still craving that same gameplay experience where one maniacal killer chases a team of players hoping to escape, Dead by Daylight may be just what you're looking for. Yeah, you won't have Jason Voorhees, but after today's update, you will be able to play as Leatherface! Check out the brand new Leatherface trailer above.

If you want to terrorize your friends as Leatherface, you'll have to pay up. The killer will be available as premium DLC, but he's priced pretty conservatively. You can unlock him for $3.99. This is where Friday the 13th: The Game players can celebrate, since all of their post-launch DLC has been free, and has included multiple new versions of Jason to play. Different strokes.
Behaviour Digital revealed that Leatherface will be coming to the Steam version of Dead by Daylight first, but don't despair console players, he'll be slashing his way onto consoles before long. If you haven't had a chance to play the game at all, then hop online this weekend and check it out. Behaviour will be hosting a free trial across all platforms all weekend long, so you can experience the adrenal thrill of running for your life (or playing the part of the killer) for yourself, risk free.
