During tonight’s broadcast for The Game Awards, Platinum Games and Nintendo, with a little help from Reggie Fils-Aime, announced that we will be seeing a third chapter in the Bayonetta series, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.

The game was noted that it’s simply in development, with no release date, but the trailer is certainly enticing, featuring the witch’s heels walking along, before a pair of guns appear through smoke, and the “3” emblem appears on the moon.

Hey, we’re not gonna argue. The Bayonetta games have been nothing short of spectacular, and if you missed out on them the first time around — you’re getting those too.

That’s because Nintendo also announced that it was bringing Bayonetta 1 and 2 as a twin-pack for the Nintendo Switch, coming on February 16th. Bayonetta 2 will be in cartridge form, while the original game will be a free download. We remember Nintendo doing this before with the original Bayonetta 2 release on the Wii U.

With that, our fix for Bayonetta is about to go into overdrive. With the first two games not far from us, and a third on the way, we can’t wait to see what Platinum games has in store!
