Earlier today, we broke down the must-attend gaming panels for San Diego Comic-Con, and amongst the ones we included was one for Microsoft's Crackdown 3, which promises to be quite a cool presentation for Xbox One owners. Today, the team detailed us on just what we can expect from the panel.

Microsoft has confirmed that the panel will feature senior narrative designer Dave Mongan, senior art director Dave Johnson, design director Clint Bundrick and a "special guest panelist," who is rumored to be star Terry Crews (though that has yet to be fully confirmed). In it, the team will discuss "behind-the-scenes development of Crackdown 3," but, in addition, it will also have "exciting new Crackdown 3 news" to go along with that.

In addition, the panel, which takes place on Saturday, July 22nd from 11 AM to 12 PM PDT, will have a Q & A session, where fans can ask certain things about the game's development. Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb will host the panel, and is sure to announce whatever news comes from it on the Xbox Wire page, as well as his Twitter. And more than likely, the footage that we'll see from the game will be powered by Microsoft's new Xbox One X hardware, as we saw from E3 last month.

So what could this news be? Well, it could be anything really, but it could very well be pointing at a closed beta for the game, which is set to premiere this November. This will allow players to try out the game's online features with their super agents of choice, using a variety of weapons and skills to wipe out crime. That's just an estimated guess, but that could be the most likely scenario.

We'll let you know whatever the team is up to as soon as the official announcement is made, as well as if Crews managed to show up to do some smack talking with potential players. After all, he's a gamer himself, and chances are he won't hold back when it comes to kicking ass and taking names with his character.

Crackdown 3 releases on November 7th for Xbox One and PC.
