Black Cat Joins Marvel Heroes Omega Roster

Marvel Heroes Omega recently opened up on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, giving players the opportunity to play with a number of Marvel heroes and villains through a fun new adventure. But if you're a fan of Black Cat, you're now able to unlock her within the game.

Gazillion has announced that the femme fatale from Spider-Man's universe is now available in the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game – if you're willing to pay for her. She can be purchased as part of a Black Cat Pack on PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace for $19.99, which includes her as a playable character, as well as a bonus costume, two Marvelous Loot Boxes and two XP Boosts.

Here's the full rundown of what comes in the package:

• Playable Black Cat: Immediately unlock Black Cat, a reformed burglar who continues to walk on the wild side as a detective and adventurer.
• 1 Bonus Costume: Receive Black Cat's Pop Star (Earth-65) Costume guaranteed. This costume comes from an alternate universe where Felicia Hardy was lead singer for the Black Cats.
• 2 Marvelous Loot Boxes: Each Marvelous Loot Box contains chances to get crafting materials, Boosts, and more useful items, as well as extremely rare exclusive costumes and flourishes.
• 2 XP Boosts: Level up faster with a healthy dose of pure XP Boost.

You can check out Black Cat's arsenal of moves in the trailer above. As you can see, she's capable of quite a bit, and has a way of dealing with foes that's a lot of fun to watch.

If $19.99 is too steep a price to pay for her, not to worry. You'll be able to purchase her separately starting on August 28th, as you'll be able to get her using Eternity Splinters within the game. The real question is if you're willing to wait that long…

Black Cat is a pretty good character, but there are plenty of others to choose from for the time being if you're short on cash. It's totally your call.
