If you haven't gotten your hands on a PlayStation 4 system just yet, or you're waiting until Call of Duty: WWII rolls around to get one, then Sony and Activision might just have the dream bundle for you.
Sony has confirmed today that it will be releasing a special Call of Duty: WWII bundle, as pictured above, on the same day that the game comes out, November 3rd. The bundle will include a 1TB PlayStation 4 system that's covered in camo colors, along with a special military green PlayStation 4 controller and all the hook-up cables, along with a copy of the standard edition of Call of Duty: WWII. The bundle is set to sell for $299.
This package will be available on that date in both the U.S. and Europe. What's more, Europe will also offer a special PlayStation 4 Pro console bundle that comes with WWII, along with a regular edition of the PS4 Slim that comes with the game. Neither of those models are set to come to the U.S., but that's fine, because at least we're getting the limited edition bundle.
And those of you pursuing the PS4 version of the game should keep in mind that this version of the game will get all WWII map packs 30 days early, whereas Xbox and PC owners will be waiting a little while. It's all part of the exclusivity deal between Sony and Activision, which not only affects Call of Duty games, but also Destiny 2, as it'll be getting exclusive content well before Xbox One and PC owners do.
It makes sense, considering Sony is still an active sponsor in Activision's Call of Duty World League competition, which is set to kick off yet again later this year, with WWII getting the primary focus for competitive play. So of course Sony gets the goods – and now you can get a cool-looking military-style PS4 Slim to call your own.
It looks like a great package, and the $299 price will certainly help those that are pinching their pennies this holiday season.
