Microsoft's Crackdown 3 has been moving along in development pretty well now, with a decent showcase at the Electronic Entertainment Expo. However, a recent showcase at San Diego Comic-Con has left mixed messages, with the game looking good, but some players trying to grasp the gameplay. (Granted, there were some celebs that don't game often, so it's not entirely the game's fault.) But Microsoft has promised the best is yet to come, as the upcoming sequel will get a big showcase at Gamescom in August.

Xbox head Phil Spencer recently noted on Twitter that the game will be at the huge Germany-based gaming event, and the company is expected to have a "good demo" on hand to show what the game is all about.

This comes on the heels of a panel at San Diego Comic-Con that got big attention, thanks to the attendance of game star Terry Crews, but didn't go as intended. Between that and the live stream, some players were wondering just what they would expect.

But Spencer has boasted confidence in the game, noting that the publisher will "make sure" the content is much better this time around. He noted, "Crackdown will be at Gamescom and we'll show more there. Yes, I saw the SDCC stream. We'll make sure we have a good demo." He also noted the lack of experience with some of the players, which included Con Man star Alan Tudyk.

Spencer didn't make it clear exactly what we'd see, but perhaps this would be a good opportunity to see the multiplayer in action, since it hasn't been too touched up on yet.

Crackdown 3 will release on November 7th for Xbox One and Xbox One X.
