Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has finally arrived, and with it, we're getting a nice little rush of nostalgia from the PlayStation 1 era, while enjoying the contemporary visuals and sounds of today's games. We highly enjoyed it, and it sounds like a lot of other people are well.

While the game's U.S. sales numbers haven't been reported yet (more than likely, Activision will wait a few days for the dust to settle), it appears that the game is getting some major traction overseas.

It turns out that a lot of Australian retailers are sold out of the game, as many shoppers have taken to Twitter to sound off their frustration in terms of finding a copy. (That said, Activision did remind folks that the digital version can be purchased on the PlayStation Store, in case they need to get their Crash fix on without tracking down a physical copy.)

For that matter, the game has also managed to become a huge hit in Europe. Per this report from GameZone, the trilogy has had no trouble becoming the top selling list on Amazon UK's list. In fact, in just two days alone, the company has noted that the game has managed to attain the #1 spot for total sales for the year. In just two days.

The game is also scoring very well on the review front, and customer feedback has been positive for the most part, despite some people complaining that the games are too difficult by today's standards. One reviewer even compared it to the likes of Dark Souls. (That may be going a tad too far, though – they're not that hard, even though they are challenging.)

We should know more about sales numbers in the next few days. As far as Crash's future goes, that's uncertain. There are rumors that Lost Treasures DLC could surface soon, and even word that the game could come to Xbox One down the road. For now, though, it's all about enjoying Crash on the PlayStation 4, where it's got a large and very healthy audience. Woo-bah-gah!

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is available now for PlayStation 4.
