Console owners already have an idea of how great Destiny 2 is, since that version of the game released early last month. That said, PC owners have been chomping at the bit to give the game a try themselves – and they don't have to wait too much longer.

Ahead of the game's release for that format next week, Activision and Bungie have unleashed an epic new trailer that gives owners of laptops and desktops everywhere a good idea of how their version of the game is going to turn out, featuring actual PC gameplay across approximately two minutes of trailer.

The clip also recaps the story, with the mighty Gaul attacking planet Earth and pretty much leaving it in ruins, forcing the Guardians to rise up and try to take one last valiant stand against him, in the hopes of saving their universe.

Destiny 2's latest trailer points out several features that will be available in the PC version of the game, including full-on 4K resolution support, uncapped framerates (which means the game will run as smoothly as ever, depending on your system), mouse and keyboard support with full custom key rebindings/mapping available, 21:9 ratio support, and a number of other features.

As you can see, the game is coming together quite nicely on the format, and you're able to tell just what critics think about the game thus far, as the trailer includes a number of accolades from different outlets. But players are likely to be sold on the technical prowess anyway, not to mention the opportunity of being able to kick ass alongside their friends in co-op.

When it does launch, Destiny 2 will be available exclusively through Blizzard's Battle.net service. While this is different from how games are normally released through Steam, players shouldn't have any trouble signing up and downloading the game for its release. Besides, most of you are hardcore fans enough that you already have a Battle.net account good to go, so it should be fairly easy to purchase and download the game, right?

Destiny 2 will release on PC on October 24th; it's already available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
