A lot of games and developers are getting into the Halloween spirit with special events and activities, so why shouldn't Ubisoft's For Honor?

The multiplayer-oriented hack and slash adventure game has kicked off a great new event to get fans involved, with a number of collectible goodies that will make them stand out in the heat of battle. Titled Feast of the Underworld, the event is happening from now through November 2nd, offering a number of goodies along the way.

In it, you'll be able to take on a new variation of the 4v4 Dominion mode, where you can take down skeletons and collect exclusive Halloween-themed cosmetics, including mood effects, emotes and ornaments.

With the new roles, players will need to adapt new strategies when it comes to taking down their enemies. There's also a new Endless March mode, where players will take on the skeletons before they deliver brutal hits that will leave them staggering. While conquering zones is still a good thing, taking down enemy soldiers will actually earn you more points – and the first to 1000 points will win the game, obviously.

The company noted about the mode, "The Feast of the Otherworld brings players new Halloween-themed rewards. Players can customise each of their Heroes with new mythic outfits that include all-new masks, which transform players into ghoulish versions of themselves. Additional For Honor weekly content released during this time will have a special Halloween flavour to celebrate the limited-time event."

You've got a good amount of time to jump in and rediscover For Honor yourself, or collect some items if you're experienced with the game. Either way, you've got plenty to hack and slash away at, with abundant rewards within reach.

You can get a hint of what the action is about in the video above, which showcases just what Feast of the Otherworld is all about – and what kind of odds you have stacked against you. It never hurts to bring a talented squad of players with you, just to assure you'll survive any Thanksgiving skirmishes.

For Honor is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
