Removing Ads From Your PS4 Homepage, Here's How

Whether you're a PlayStation 4 veteran, or received a shiny new console this holiday season, you may have noticed that the homepage is a safe place for ads. This week especially, a particularly 'there' Destiny 2 advert is there and waiting to lure you into battling against the Cabal and other various enemies alongside your trusty Ghost. For some, these ads seem like not a big deal at all - an understanding part of business and easy to overlook. Others, however, see it as a nuisance and want them gone. Here's how to do just that:

• Go into the Settings page on your homescreen
• Select System
• Select Automatic Downloads
• Remove the selection for Featured Content

It's pretty easy and simple to disable, and may even be considered common sense for some - But, we're here to help and hopefully this makes it a little easier and enjoying that new PlayStation 4 even better.
