Today, Square Enix released a brand new trailer for its upcoming Playstation 4 exclusive title, DISSIDIA Final Fantasy NT. The trailer highlights the game's wide-ranging roster of characters, featuring favorites like Sephiroth, Lightning, Cloud, and Kefka. In total, there will be 28 heroes and villains for players to choose from at launch, and seven summons to attack enemies with. Classic moves and one-liners are peppered throughout the video, which includes heroes from the first Final Fantasy game all the way to offshoots like Tactics as well as featuring Noctis, the hero of Final Fantasy XV. Each character is said to have their own unique play style, with move sets that feel recognizable and respectful to the character's home title. It also looks like the game will be fully voiced, with several actors from past games returning to revive their characters.
For those among us who want the extra one-two punch that comes with a Final Fantasy fighting game, an Ultimate Collector's Edition will be available for $189.99. Along with the game, players can take home a Warrior of Light bust figure, a soundtrack with 15 songs from the game, three alternate art cards that are part of the official Final Fantasy Trading Card Game, an 84-page artbook, and (most importantly) a season pass that will give them full access to six new playable characters, as well as post-launch content. The Final Fantasy franchise has countless characters that aren't yet part of the roster, so getting in on it early might be a smart idea if you're a die-hard fan. DISSIDIA Final Fantasy NT is set for release on January 30th, exclusively on Playstation 4.
