John Kodera has officially been welcomed as the new President of Sony Interactive Entertainment, and his new socials to dive right into the community are now active. Just mere hours after creation, Kodera-san reported that he was flooded with love and support from fans while he made a few big, and welcome, promises for the future of the gaming staple.

Among his promises were to make sure that the PlayStation platform was the "best place to play," while also addressing fan concerns about the growing trend of "games as a service" and what that means for House Sony.

Many flocked to Kodera-san to give him praise and words of encouragement while also giving him an even closer look at how the community runs, thinks, and feels about the tides turning in ever evolving gaming industry. When one follower begged the new President to "please just don't go crazy with the "Games as a Service" thing," Kodera-san simply responded:

Looking at his feed, Kodera-san looks to be a very welcome bearer of the Sony torch and we can't wait to see what he does with the responsibilities given.
