Did you love Bethesda's 2016 reboot of DOOM?! We did, too. After spending countless hours ripping and tearing demons apart on Mars, in Hell, and back again, we were delighted to finally get our hands on a portable DOOM on the Nintendo Switch (see here). Now it's time to experience DOOM in a way we never thought possible: in Virtual Reality. Bethesda will be bringing DOOM VFR (virtual effing reality) to PS4 on December 1, and today, Sony revealed a brand new PlayStation VR bundle to compliment the launch:
For those of you wondering how DOOM could possibly work in VR, there will be a few mobility solutions in place to help you navigate without barfing everywhere. Moving in virtual reality is not always a pleasant experience, but teleporting works very well and helps you keep your lunch down. From what we can tell, this will be the preferred method of navigation in DOOM VFR.
"Doom VFR transports you to the UAC facility on Mars and the depths of Hell, as your skills are put to the test through intense combat. Set shortly after the demonic invasion on the UAC's Martian research facility, you are the last known human survivor – until your death. Under a top-secret UAC operational contingency protocol, your consciousness is transferred to an artificial brain matrix. Your designated purpose: restore operational stability and use any means necessary to stop the onslaught of demons."

If you're thinking about picking this puppy up, you can pre-order the bundle now for $399.99 for release on December 1.
