From Software and Bloodborne have recently found themselves once again in the news with rumors circulating that there might be news of Bloodborne 2 coming soon. If you can't wait for the official reveal of the game — fingers crossed it's actually happening — you can get your Bloodborne fix by dropping $800 on this new Bloodborne Hunter statue from Prima 1 Studio.
Known for its category of high-quality collectibles that accompany video games and other areas of pop culture, the detail that went into the statue is definitely apparent, and fans of the game will be able to quickly pick out some of the most recognizable characteristics of the statue.
Posted to Prima 1 Studio's Facebook page on Thursday, the statue depicts a pretty intense scene for it being a stationary collectible. A description of the statue from Sideshow, another collectibles studio that partnered with Prima 1 Studio to create the statue, identifies the main figure as the protagonist from Bloodborne and gives a brief overview of the history of the Hunters, one that avid players probably already know. The figure towers over a fallen foe, perched next to a gothic style lamp with a Threaded Cane in his right hand. Sitting nearby the Hunter are a couple of Blood Vials to refresh himself after the fight.
That's not the only weapon that collectors can look forward to equipping their Hunter with, though. The description of what's included with the statue also says that several interchangeable accessories will come with the statue to customize it just as you can in-game. Below is a list of what's included:
- One interchangeable right hand holding a Saw Cleaver
- One interchangeable right hand holding a Hunter Axe
- One interchangeable street lamp
- One interchangeable street pillar
- One exclusive interchangeable right hand holding a Threaded Cane
Coming in at 32 inches tall, it's a pretty hefty statue. It's important to keep in mind that the model being shown is still a prototype, so there may be some changes made before it is officially released. For now, the statue is only available for preorder for those who have a cool $800 to spare. Or, you can opt in on the payment plan the site offers for just $90 a month. There's an expected delivery date of July-September of 2018 for the collectible statue, and sales will be limited by availability.
